Seems like you've done well in hitting these places 'off season'. I thought a lot of the falls looked like the Adirondacks (or the gorges around Ithaca--on steroids). Isn't it amazing how even slight variations in familiar landscapes (the quality of rock, the amount of water and/or vegetation) can make for such incredible variety? I suspect the kids a learning a lot about geology. Miss you guys a ton, and so really enjoy all the photos and the chance to share in your travels!
